The Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships (formerly The Tavistock Marital Studies Institute) was founded in 1948 and aims to improve the quality of adult couple relationships, prevent family breakdown and enhance the lives of children. The TCCR is a national organisation, with an international reputation for:

Relationship counselling

Couple psychotherapy and relationship counselling are vital steps to saving a relationship before the situation develops into one or both parties considering divorce. The initial step of making that first appointment is an important step in admitting there is something that needs dealing with and overcoming this hurdle is a step in the right direction.

For those already at the divorce stage, counselling can help ease the transition back to single life with as little fall out as possible. Relationship Advice

The former London Marriage Guidance services were taken over by TCCR in 2005 and extended to include relationship counselling as well as a psychotherapy clinic. Our service is particularly valuable to those that live in and around London as it is the most cost effective form of relationship advice in the area.
